My name is Bella Higgin, and I spend most of my life lost inside the half-crazy wonderland that is my head. Growing up, I wanted to be a mermaid, a superhero, a pirate, or a witch. Now I know writing means I can be all of those things.
Speaking from experience? No journey will ever be as exciting, as frustrating, as testing, as uncertain, and as exhilarating as the path to writing a book. Anyone brave enough to take this on, you are more than a writer. You are an Imagination Rambler.
Some facty factoids about me:
I’m a book addict – I devour books like sweet, sweet chocolate (and, unlike chocolate, books aren’t bad for the old waistline).
I’m a genre-fiction cheerleader. The genres I’m most passionate about – both to read and write – are urban fantasy, paranormal romance, dystopian, post-apocalyptic, and any little subgenres that fill the cracks.
I am owned by a black cat called Sootica who thinks it’s her mission in life to track muddy paw-prints over my notes.
Geek and proud of it – I won’t hide my love of Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Firefly, or the fact that I’ve been a Trekkie for as long as I can remember.
Join me, Ramblers……
